PROF. DR. AYLİN BİCAN DEMİR
She graduated from Bursa Cumhuriyet High School in 1994 from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. Between 2004-2009, she worked as a research assistant at Uludağ University Neurology Department. Between 2009-2011, she completed her compulsory service at Samsun Vezirköprü State Hospital. In 2005, she completed her sleep training in Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty Sleep Unit and was awarded a sleep medicine certificate. In 2011, she started to work as a doctor lecturer at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology, and in 2018 she received the title of Associate Professor. Curriculum a In 2023, she received the title of professor.she still teaches postgraduate courses in the Department of Neurology and works as a sleep unit supervisor. She is a member of Bursa Medical Chamber, Turkish Neurology Association, Turkish Sleep Medicine Association, Clinical Neurophysiology Association. She is a member of the Uludağ Neurology Days scientific meeting organizing board and scientific secretary. She is married and has a child.
Research and Interests
Her work focuses on epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, and sleep disorders. She made her specialty thesis on epilepsy experimental animals. She actively works in many domestic congresses, meetings and international studies. She attended scientific meetings abroad, especially in the field of epilepsy and sleep.
